Minesweeper - The Movie

     Minesweeper, the movie, was released in 1943 to encourage the Allied troops during WWII.
     A naval officer, having deserted the Navy due to a gambling addiction, rejoins during the war.
He becomes a hero by destroying a new type of German mine.
     The Cast included Richard Arlen, Jean Parker, Russell Hayden, Guinn Williams and Emma
Dunn. Directed by William Berke, it was written by Edward Lowe and Maxwell Shane. Running
time is 67 minutes.
     Noteably, the inventor of minesweeper shares his name with actor Robert Donner. However,
Donner was serving in the Navy and did not start acting until after the war.
